The poll with 1,092 families on the suburbs of the Greater São
Paulo has shown that low-income families have been able to
aim and acquire goods and services which were restricted to
the higher classes, thanks to increasing credit offers, bringing
higher debts with it; and that the lack of investments in
the education threatens the conquests and the future development
of these communities.
